ABOUT CHAYA-RYVKA: Chaya-Ryvka is a raw food chef, raw food pastry chef, educator, and promoter of vibrant health currently located in Northern California. Through food preparation workshops, lectures, private classes, and catering Chaya-Ryvka shares with her clients and audiences a new paradigm of food as ideal body/mind/spirit fuel, and medicine while providing the nurturing flavors and textures we have all come to associate with as satisfying “comfort food”.
Chaya-Ryvka trained for two years as an apprentice with Master Raw Food Chef Elaina Love. Together they catered raw food retreats, served private catered events, taught classes, and opened a raw food café – Café Soulstice in San Mateo, CA. She also apprenticed with gourmet raw pastry chefs and creators of the desserts for the voted #1 raw food restaurant – Café Gratitude. Chaya-Ryvka spent 6 months apprenticing in the art of raw chocolate confections; she worked in a newly opened raw/vegan chocolate factory, Coracao Confections (http://www.coracaoconfections.com). Chaya also trained as a juice feast consultant during her own 92 day juice feast by David and Katrina Rainoshek of www.JuiceFeasting.com.
Currently Chaya-Ryvka is expressing her living foods creativity catering private events, teaching group classes, creating specialty gourmet raw desserts, raw wedding cakes and providing private raw lifestyle/kitchen consultations. She works locally in the Bay area as the "Bakery" Supervisor at Café Gratitude.

Hi, I'm Robert
Reid, aka "Rawbert
" (as my friends call me) and I'd like to welcome you
to 'The
OG' website, a true labor of love. This site
and its vegan recipes are dedicated to everything that can
make you feel happier, healthier and more vibrant than you've
ever imagined. Over a decade ago, I made a choice to go
vegetarian and almost entirely raw!
My journey took me deep into a whole new world of;
organic food, sustainable living, natural hygiene, juicing,
fasting & natural detoxification, yoga & meditation,
and the wisdom of ancient Chinese and Indian (Ayurveda)
health systems. Ulitmately I was lead to experiment with
very high levels of
raw foods as the basis of my diet. I soon
realized the rejuvenating and restorative power that living
nutrients and enzymes offer the body and how vibrant

What can I say about living a dream?
Everyday I get to prepare the world's healthiest and tastiest
food and to promote the wonders of a organic predominantly
raw food diet
. It's all so vibrant, so fresh, so pure and so full of life!
I feel both fortunate and blessed that daily I am able to combine my efforts with Mother
Nature's perfect ingredients and to present our creations in a manner that will hopefully
delight your eyes as much as your palate. Our predominantly
raw food menu always offers the standard, organic vegan
fixtures, a juice bar, fabulous gourmet options, as well as our hot soups, wraps,
and highly anticipated
daily specials including many of my brand new
raw creations that have never been seen or published anywhere before.
